Outstanding International Academy (OIA) welcomes all students who have completed a middle school or higher degree and wish to receive an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). Before starting the learning journey at OIA, students are required to provide their previous academic history to OIA for assessment. The results from this assessment, as well as the academic field that the student is interested in pursuing in the future , will determine the preparatory course package to be completed. If you are interested in more information about relevant courses or projects and want to learn more, please contact a consultant from the OIA Admission Office for an appointment.
- Download and complete the admission application form.
- Please review the application information carefully and return the form to the admission office together with the transcripts or relative certification for the past three academic years. (If the transcript is not in English, please submit a certified document in English.)
- Pay the application fee and upload a recent passport photo and a copy of the applicant’s passport or ID.
- OIA will evaluate your application and will notify you when a decision is made. If you are successfully admitted, you will receive a letter of acceptance from us. At this point, you will be required to pay tuition fees and other applicable fees. All fees should be paid through an International Money Order (IMO) or bank draft payment.
- Upon successful payment of the tuition fee, OIA will send you the official letter of acceptance and the receipt of the payment. OIA will also provide a guide for “Next Steps” (applicable to students who apply for a visa through OIA), including how to apply for a study permit with a supporting school acceptance letter and payment receipt.
- After the Canadian study permit and visa are received, OIA will arrange a series of services to help students settle down in Canada (such as airport pickup, banking service, cellphone service, house rental, etc.).
- Students will enter Canada via Toronto Pearson Airport and start a new life in Toronto.
