English as a second language (ESL) is set in accordance with the curriculum regulations of the Ministry of Education of Ontario. The learning contents cover four important areas of English – listening, speaking, reading and writing, and the improvement of language skills and learning skills is emphasized. It is divided into five levels: ESLAO, ESLBO, ESLCO, ESLDO and ESLEO.
At OIA, we specialize in helping our students accomplish English Language learning. To this end, we have developed an ESL language course system.
The teaching content is based on a graduated system of levels, from easy to learn, beginning language study to the difficulty of the most advanced of ESL courses. All our courses cover the IELTs and TOEFL content.
Our ESL English courses are based on the syllabuses of Canadian public schools. Non-native English students can acquire English level equivalency to be ready for study in Canadian local high schools.
Our system graduates have accomplished mastery of English listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary.
The National Education Development Foundation of Canada is a non-profit organization approved by the Canadian Federal Government. Its goal is to Train young people to have an international perspective from an early age by helping them invest in quality education. Their hope is that more young people will enjoy more local education resources in Canada.
